Waterjet service support for industry partners

A waterjet project can involve an owner, a maintenance team, a machinery dealer, a rigger, and several site contractors. Highline welcomes inquiries about independent Flow-focused service support where the equipment, responsibilities, and customer authorization are clear.

Start with the customer’s actual need

Useful discussions begin with the machine and the work to be assessed. Is a production team planning maintenance, is a dealer helping a customer understand a used system, or is a relocation team preparing equipment for a new site? Each situation calls for a different service scope.

Share the machine model, pump and head details, location, current condition, and the proposed project window. Explain who owns the equipment, who can authorize the work, and who will make decisions if the assessment finds additional needs.

Define the handoffs before the visit

Good coordination makes clear who owns site readiness, equipment access, utilities, transport, rigging, parts purchasing, technical service, and production acceptance. Highline’s role should be agreed for the particular project rather than assumed from the involvement of other contractors.

For a relocation, that may mean discussing when the equipment will be ready for service after handling and utility work. For a maintenance project, it may mean aligning a service window with the customer’s authorized maintenance team and available parts.

Keep customer information purposeful

Send only the information needed to assess the project and that you are authorized to share. Equipment identification, symptoms, relevant records, and site requirements are usually the starting point. Do not send passwords, access tokens, or unrelated customer-confidential material.

Discuss communication and approval responsibilities before any work is scheduled. If several companies are involved, identify the customer’s decision-maker and the contact responsible for coordinating changes to scope or timing.

  • Equipment details and the work being requested
  • Customer-approved contacts and each party’s responsibility
  • Location, access requirements, and planned project milestones
  • Known faults, available documentation, parts status, and dependencies
