Stop when conditions are unsafe
Do not approach a suspected high-pressure leak, defeat a guard or interlock, open electrical cabinets, disconnect pressure components or restart repeatedly to reproduce a fault. Follow the machine documentation and your facility’s shutdown, isolation and lockout/tagout procedures. Only qualified, authorized personnel should verify a safe state and perform service.
Record the exact alarm, when the issue started, whether it followed maintenance or a change in material or program, and whether the issue is repeatable in existing production records. Photos of the alarm screen or rejected parts are often more useful than a guessed diagnosis.
Low waterjet pressure: what to record
Record low or unstable waterjet pressure safely. Know which observations help a professional assess your Flow pump and cutting system.
Poor waterjet cut quality: what to record
Describe taper, dimensional errors, rough edges, and inconsistent cuts with a safe observation checklist for independent Flow service.
Flow waterjet will not start: what to record
Document a Flow waterjet start failure safely: identify where the sequence stops, preserve alarms, and prepare machine details for service.
